What does God say about Adoption?

God Adopts
For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of
adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba, Father!’ (Romans 8:15)
So that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. (Galatians 4:5)
He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ. (Eph 1:5)

God Commands
Do not deprive the alien or the fatherless of justice, or take the cloak of the widow as a pledge. (Deuteronomy 24:17)
Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow. (Isaiah 1:17)

God Promises He Knows Them
For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made . . . When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. (Psalm 139:13-15)

He Sees Them
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you: you are the helper of the fatherless. (Psalm 10:14)
The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. (Psalm 10:14)

He Has Compassion on Them
A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His holy habitation. God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell. Ps. 68:5-6a.

He Defends Them
Do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more. (Psalm 10:18)
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. (Psalm 68:5)

He Will Come to Them
I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. (John 14:18)
We are God's hands and feet. So in essence, we are God's way of coming to save orphans and the fatherless.

Does Life Begin at Conception?

DOES LIFE BEGIN AT CONCEPTION ?
When does human life begin, at birth or at conception? What does the word of God have to say about the subject?

CONCEPTION

Genesis 25:21-22 Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord answered him and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 but the children struggled together within her; and she said, ........

You will notice the unborn are referred to as children and not fetuses.

Job 3:3 "Let the day perish on which I was to be born, And the night which said, A boy is conceived!

Job was a boy at conception. Job was a person before and after he was born.

Luke 1:36 And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she was called barren is now in her sixth month.

Elizabeth's son (John The Baptist) was a son at conception.

IS ABORTION A SIN?

Proverbs 6:16-18 There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, 18...........

The Lord calls abortion an abomination. What blood is more innocent than that of babies?

Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder.

Is abortion murder in God's eyes? Is abortion not the shedding of innocent blood?

What mystifies me is how those who claim to be believers in Jesus Christ can attend a church or support a political candidate that advocates killing the unborn. Can it get anymore baffling than that?

LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION!

Who is Jesus

We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receive Jesus alone as your Savior, and you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

Why is there hell? Why would a loving God punish a person for eternity, when their sins only took place for 70-80 years? The answer is that all sin is ultimately against God, who is infinite (Psalm 51:4). So, since God is an eternal and infinite Being, all sin is worthy of an infinite punishment.

Yes, God loves us (John 3:16) and wants all people to be saved (2 Peter 3:9). However, God is also just and righteous - He will not allow sin to go unpunished. That is why God sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. Jesus Christ's death was an infinite death, paying our infinite sin debt - so that we would not have to pay it in Hell for eternity (2 Corinthians 5:21). All we have to do is put our faith in Him and we are forgiven and promised an eternal home in heaven. God loved us so much to provide for our salvation. If we reject His gift of eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ, we will face the eternal consequences of that decision - an eternity in a fiery hell.

If you were to die today do you know with 100% certainty that you are going to heaven? Know for sure today!
